I just wanted to let everyone know that Tim has completed his Masters Degree....

WAHOO!!! YAY!! CELEBRATE!! FREEDOM!! HOORAY!!

Oh, I'm sorry...was that out loud?!? ")

Anyway, he's not going to "walk" or participate in any sort of "official" graduation ceremonies, so the boys and I decorated the house and celebrated with a banana split.

Good job Daddy- Congratulations!!

Fun in the Sun

The boys had fun in the pool today. This particular adventure was a little spontaneous as seen by the fact that Jackson is in his school clothes and Broder is in his jammies and they are playing in the water. Oh well, it's summer, they'll dry. Anyway, they had a good time splashing.

It's not any wonder that Broder is the one who gets all the weird diseases...here he is drinking the water out of the pool like a puppy.

Just having a great time and wanting to see what the pictures look like after I had taken them.

Cheese!

Hope everyone is having a good summer too!

Bath time

Of all the fun things associated with bath time...bubbles, water, toys, duckies, clean little boys...poop is not one of them. Just a thought.

A banner day

Great news! Broder officially walked down the hall and into nursery all by himself yesterday...not a tear was shed. It was the best day ever!!!

Summer Book Club

OK gals. Everyone likes to find out fun, great, new books to read, right? Well, as the summer progresses I thought it would be fun to start a "book club." I will keep everyone updated on what I am reading and if you'd like to "join" in with me, yay! let me know how it's going, or if you see something that I have read that intrigues you and you'd like to borrow it, let me know too. I love to share.

I am starting with one of my favorite, favorite books, North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. No, it's not the Civil War books and the movie with Patrick Swayze....yucky. It's all about Victorian England and deals with class conflicts and the Industrial Revolution and of course, there's a good, old-fashioned love story too. (Also, a really, really good movie...one definitely worth checking out and one I also happen to have as well.)

Anyway, happy reading!

Playing catch-up

Hello! I can't believe it is June! May just flew by. I haven't posted in awhile because I really didn't think we had "done" anything, but after looking at our pictures, there were a couple of memorable May moments...

1. Broder sucked on a black magic marker because....hey, why not?

2. For his birthday Jackson got a sandbox and when it's not raining (when) the boys love to play out on the patio. It's pretty messy...I don't know what I was thinking. (Yes, it was my idea.)

3. Jackson "graduated" from preschool. Now...he is a man.

4. We went up to "Heberland" and rode Thomas with David, Jennifer and Mason. Mason really liked it...no really, he did.")

Anyway, just a couple of things that finished out our May. Tim and I celebrated our 7th wedding annversary. He kidnapped me up to Midway and The Homestead. We went shopping, got a massage, saw a movie. All good stuff. He was so cute and arranged all my YW stuff in secret and all of my advisers and counselors were in on the plot. He knew that I would be way too stressed and not be able to enjoy myself if I thought there were "loose ends" to be taken care of down here with the girls.

All in all, a good month. Summer is here and I am sure we'll have all sorts of excited new adventures to be shared. Have a fabulous June!
